A beautiful moon in all its pristine glory...
A smile that hides a daunting story...

A warm summer night lit all bright...
The cloak of darkness far from sight...

In my heart I know, so I don't pray...
A fool's wish to make the moon to stay.

Life she knew...

He turned around and left her in tears...
His cold heart she will long for years...
Thinking all he did was become strong...
But a life left weak by the pain borne long.

Her gloomy eyes staring at the empty pathway...
Wishing only if he would walk in some day...
He ignored her heart's prayer to stay...
Her happiness trampled on his way.

Every passing breath conjuring her fears...
this life without him bringing her to tears...
Love is all that she had, he could not see...
Life as she knew, it was never meant to be.

Those memories sweet giving her only pain...
And those last words now drive her insane...
If only she could have the strength to let go...
that there's more to life she'll never know.

She learns to live with her heart broken...
Those wonderful dreams from her taken...
Her hopes for love eternally shattered...
Now disheartened by things that once mattered...

This life to her holds no meaning...
With no soul to listen to her feeling...
With all of the memories her heart cries...
With every painful breath a part of her dies...

Her mind playing tricks of every kind...
reliving all those moments left behind...
Moments of joy now turn to sorrow...
As dark clouds in world with no tomorrow...

Life's charm now slowly slipping away...
A mere existence now defines a day...
Her story is how cruel life can be...
Her depths of pain the world can't see...

Does the river ever shed a tear...
Will the mighty oak ever shiver in fear...
Does the wind ever wail in pain...
Will the mountains ever melt in the rain

Why you be so sad my friend...
Some things do come to end...
A flower will bloom to delight as it glows...
Only to wither away as the wind blows...

Life will have its twists and turns...
With moments it delights or it burns...
Smile as this life would do you no wrong...
Just give moments that make you strong...

Wonders of this world still left to see...
And many a beautiful places to be...
With divine morsels to come your way...
And an elixir of life to drink away...

So I say...

a shy snail...

Playfully the little girl poked...
a joy to her the act evoked...
painful!.. It retraced to its shell...
waited... praying all will be well...

Believing the coast is clear...
thinking no one is near...
from its haven it peered...
unware of all that it feared...

aaah! a thrust from the curious stick...
and a slow life met its end quick...

Meet the first ray of sunshine with a smile...
Time for joyous mood... cause It's been a while...

She remembers every word he said...
Every moment of joy to which it lead...
Something lost in her eyes that cried...
Telling the heartbreak she wants to hide.

Every one of the promises she made...
Now in the distant past they fade...
The days are gloom in its myriad shades...
Through the sea of pain alone she wades.

She relives every moment of that beautiful past...
Joyous experiences that she thought would last...
What life has come to she doesn't know...
plumes of time that has lost its glow.

A flickering flame within her heart now lies...
the moments of pain stay even as time flies.
Life's anything but a wait for that beautiful spring...
