I am walking

 

I am walking, on this trail all alone
To a place, that for me is unknown
I don't know what is at the end
Wish I could tell you my friend

I am walking, I am after my dreams
On a journey, long and unending it seems
I follow this trail where'er it may lead
Requests to stop, my heart won't accede

I am walking, I am feeling so good
Joyous and blissful as I could
The sky above never seemed so blue
Void of any bother I enjoy this view

I am walking, I've reached far away
Still I wish to tread the path all day
Many a strangers I have met on the way
But not a companion with whom I'd stay

I am walking, My legs are tired and sore
Still I yearn to walk a few steps more
I have no place to reach, no place to see
My heart's only preach is to forever walk free
